The UAD-2 Satellite Thunderbolt Octo with Ultimate 12 Bundle includes a UAD-2 Satellite Thunderbolt Octo Core and all the plug-ins developed by Universal Audio.

The Universal Audio UAD-2 Satellite Thunderbolt Octo uses eight SHARC DSP processors, which, combined with Thunderbolt technology's increased bandwidth, deliver similar performance as PCIe cards.

The UAD-2 Satellite Thunderbolt Octo includes dual Thunderbolt 3 ports, allowing the unit to be daisy-chained with up to six Thunderbolt devices. It can be cascaded with UAD-2 PCIe cards, UAD-2 Satellites, Apollo Twins and rack interfaces, combining their total DSP.
