The Genelec's 7200DSP series subwoofers utilise DSP to allow for all standard AES/EBU formats of digital audio, accepting resolutions from 16-bit/32kHz to 24-bit/192kHz. Integral to the system is Genelec Loudspeaker Manager (available separately), a computer program that provides control of all loudspeakers on the network - up to 25 loudspeakers and 5 subwoofers are definable and controllable. All functions and settings are stored in custom user setups or directly into each loudspeaker. An automated algorithm, AutoCal, runs within GLM and using the included measurement microphone correctly sets levels, distance delays, phase and room response equalisation.
