Ideal for both tracking and mixing, the VNE excels in delivering comprehensive dynamics management. It employs the same gain reduction circuit found in the renowned D.W. Fearn VT-7 Stereo Tube Compression Amplifier, using readily available tubes to achieve classic tube compressor performance. The integration of the PWM control circuit ensures precise and responsive compression, allowing users to apply subtle or aggressive compression as needed, all while maintaining a transparent and musical sound.

User-Friendly Design

The VNE's front panel is designed for intuitive operation, featuring controls for Threshold, Attack, Release, and Gain. Additionally, a three-way rotary switch enables users to bypass compression or insert a High-Pass Filter (HPF) in the side chain to reduce sensitivity to low frequencies. This gentle roll-off, set nominally at 100Hz, prevents heavy low-frequency transients from overly influencing the compression, ensuring a balanced and controlled output.
