Founded by brothers Geoff and George Hazelrigg, who have extensive backgrounds in live performance and production, the company designs and manufactures studio equipment from an artist's perspective. They are intimately familiar with the goals and challenges that artists, engineers, and producers face.

Although the Hazelrigg Brothers often work in state-of-the-art studios or transport racks of gear to less equipped venues, they recognized that many of their peers were encountering different obstacles. With the rise of modern production methods, more tracks are now being recorded in unconventional spaces like bedrooms and hotel rooms, often using headphones or unfamiliar monitoring systems. These environments can introduce inconsistencies in the final audio.
