The Lang PEQ-2 is the result of extensive research and backward engineering by Heritage Audio. It has the same unique Western Electric design as the famous Pultec EQP-1A, but with 26 frequency points and a sharper, tighter response. Furthermore, the PEQ-2 includes multiple frequency adjustments between the bass boost and bass reduction for more accurate control. The High Peak boost also includes a 20kHz increase to help open things up.

The PEQ-2 not only features Low Shelf boost and cut control, as well as High Shelf cut control, but it also has a High Peak Boost with a completely variable Q (Bandwidth) setting ranges from Sharp to Broad to cover all needs. Furthermore, the range of Boost genuinely fluctuates based on your Bandwidth choice to provide a very smooth and realistic reaction at all times.
