Heritage Audio
Founded in Madrid by Peter Rodríguez, a civil engineer, music producer and lifelong analogue enthusiast, Heritage Audio was created to bring the tone and character of classic recording equipment into modern studios without the cost and maintenance associated with vintage originals. The company has grown from its early 73-style microphone preampsinto an extensive range including the 73JR II, BritStrip, Successor, Symph EQ, HA-609A, Super 8, Herchild 660/670and i73 PRO audio interfaces, with design and production centred at its facility in Madrid, Spain.
Heritage Audio’s analogue designs make extensive use of discrete Class-A circuitry, Carnhill transformers, diode-bridge compression and traditional through-hole components, while adding the routing, control and connectivity expected in contemporary studios. From transformer-driven preamps and EQs to bus compression, vari-mu dynamics, monitor control and audio interfaces, Heritage Audio combines vintage-inspired character with practical modern engineering for recording, mixing and mastering workflows.
