The Merging Technologies AKDG8D Module is a remotely controlled Mic/Line Input card designed to work with the Horus and HAPI base units using Merging Audio's 3rd generation Dual Gain topology designs and a unique Line Level Post Mic-preamp "Direct Out" output.

The Merging Technologies AKDG8DP Module is a remotely controlled Mic/Line Input card designed to work with the Horus and HAPI base units using Merging Audio's 3rd generation Dual Gain topology designs and a unique Line Level Post Mic-preamp "Direct Out" output.
The Merging Technologies AKDG8DP Module sets a new standard in analogue circuitry design with eight exceptionally transparent pre-amplifiers and discrete analogue-only direct outputs.
In addition, the AKDG8DP features a remote or local switch to line level per channel and complete remote access for all parameters.
All preamps feature phantom power, polarity switch, and low-cut switches, offering more than 130dB of dynamic range. The AKDG8DP offers pristine conversion up to 192kHz PCM.
