The NNNN Devor 40 is a high-performance horn-loaded subwoofer with two powerful 8" drivers, a subcardoid pattern, and an extremely low frequency response.
The NNNN Devor 40 is equipped with dual 8-inch drivers that mechanically feed the horn in a push-push configuration, cancelling out the movement exerted on the cabinet by each driver and reducing cabinet distortion. This configuration allows the bass signal to be perceived as travelling with the rest of the music through the air rather than out of time through the floor.
The horn loading mechanism allows for high sensitivity, quick impulse response, and low distortion. The DEVOR 340 is a one-of-a-kind subwoofer due to its combination of high-quality audio reproduction down to 23Hz and extremely high SPL for its size and weight.
The DEVOR 40 has a subcardioid dispersion pattern throughout its intended bandwidth. Because less energy is reflected off surrounding surfaces, sound pressure can be directed towards the audience, reducing the need for room acoustical treatment.
Because of its high sound pressure level and low visual impact, DEVOR 40 is suitable for a wide range of applications. The extremely low frequency response of the DEVOR 30 enables it to cover everything from clubs to concert halls and auditoriums, but it can also be used as a bass extension in studio and HiFi setups.
