Studio Electronics Grainy Clamp-It

The Studio Electronics ModStar Grainy Clamp-It is a granular additive oscillator module. Grainy Clamp It utilizes two stages of synthesis to create its unusual timbres and tones. 

The first stage provides additive mixing between the harmonics of the 16 onboard waveforms. The second stage provides granular or phase modulated mixing of the first stage, providing distortion, sync detune and even wave sequencing effects.

Grainy clamp it provides a rich and complex synthesis architecture, based around additive mixing and granular processing. The end results are obscure, dissident but with organ style characteristics.
