The Sequential Take 5 is a compact and portable five-voice polyphonic synthesizer with two VCO and a sub-oscillator per voice, the 4-pole resonant filter of the Prophet-5 Rev4 and 44 full-size keys with a premium Fatar keybed.

The Sequential Take 5 has distilled the classic Dave Smith and sequential sound and legacy into a portable yet powerful analog synthesizer. Following the traditional subtractive synthesis architecture, the Take 5 includes two voltage-controlled-oscillators with Sine, Saw and pulse waves with pulse width and a simple analogue FM to add harmonic complexity and create bell-like timbres. The VCO section is immediately followed by the 4-pole analogue filter taken directly from the Prophet-5. Further tonal shaping is available thanks to the Drive control that adds additional punch and the Vintage knob that adds micro variations of the oscillator, filter and envelope for each voice, creating a warmer, richer sound.

The Take 5 also boasts two LFOs, ADSR+delay envelopes and a plethora of modulation possibilities. It also includes a raft of effects including a separate overdrive effect, a dedicated digital reverb and a suite of effects including delays and more. A 64 Polyphonic step sequencer is also available as well as a multimode arpeggiator.
