Dean Street Studios choose ATC SCM50A

KMR Audio have worked closely with Dean Street Studios over the years and when they decided to update their monitoring we were on hand to assist. Having already had experience with a previous older set of ATC monitors, and even after evaluating other designs, Engineer Austen Jux-Chandler and owner Jazz chose what they knew worked the best, the ATC SCM50A.

Austen explains why they were chosen and what it means to have ATC monitoring.

Dean Street Studios is in the heart of Soho in London and having been owned by Tony Visconti in the 1970's it was a host to artists such as David Bowie, U2 and T-Rex. In 1989 the Studio was sold to a music production company and over the following years, clients such as Robert Plant, Pink Floyd, Bruce Hornsby and Cliff Richard were recorded here, alongside many Actors providing voice over work.

Dean Street Studios was re-opened in 2007 by Jasmine 'Jazz' Lee and a few of the Artists and clients that have recorded here are:
