Eurorack Compatibility
The Dreadbox Kinematic offers dual modes, functioning as either a compressor or an envelope filter, each with dedicated controls for precision shaping of sound.
KEY FEATURES
The Dreadbox Kinematic is a VCA compressor and envelope filter effect pedal designed for electric guitars and synths . It includes eurorack patch compatibility.
The Dreadbox Kinematic includes filter, drive, Envelope and level controls and a toggle switch to select which mode (compressor or envelope filter).
In Filter mode, the filter knob works as a cutoff for the low-pass filter while the Envelope is used to control the curve of the envelope.
In Compression mode, the filter knob works as an emphasis control boosting the band to be compressed while the Envelope controls the Extreme Compration Ratio.
The Kinematic pedal can operate with Eurorack synthesizers allowing for CV control of the filter, level, while the EG out can be used to control the rest of the synth in sync with the pedal.
