The Karno SEPIA L6-AI 1U 19" Rack Mount Host-routable Analog DSUB Output is a robust and versatile audio processing unit designed for professional audio environments.

Innovative Design

The L6, a 1U, 19-inch unit with 6 module slots, represents the first in a series of hosts developed for the SEPIA platform. Created with input from over 150 engineers, it ensures safe, secure, and flexible audio processing in even the most challenging conditions. Built to endure the rigours of modern touring, the L6 brings authentic analogue hardware to studio and road workflows.

Flexible Routing

The L6-A1 model offers flexible routing to eight outputs via an industry-standard D-SUB connector. This allows a seamless interface with the analogue I/O of other equipment without any internal conversion, ensuring a complete analogue signal flow from input to output.

Advanced Cooling System

Each SEPIA L6 features a unique thermal system to cool its modules. Heat transfers through conduction from the top of each module into the L6, with thermal bias springs ensuring a solid connection. Vented sides and rear, combined with three heatsinks and near-silent fans, maintain effective and quiet cooling.

Optimised Rack Space

The rear of the L6 dips to allow airflow, enabling units to be racked directly above or below each other, optimising valuable rack space.

Independent Power Supplies

Internally, the L6 houses six separate power supplies, each tailored to provide the power needed for optimal module performance. A secondary DC input from an independent supply ensures no system-wide dropouts, guaranteeing peace of mind.

Continuous Audio Flow

In the rare event of total power failure, the L6 will continue to pass analogue audio, ensuring 100% show-critical functionality.
