Enhanced Timbral Complexity
The CODE Omega 8 synthesizer features eight sinewave generators for the first oscillator, allowing users to achieve greater timbral complexity and sound depth in their music productions.
The Studio Electronics CODE Omega 8 is an 8-voice programmable polyphonic analogue synthesizer derived from SE’s Omega synth platform, but with some game changing enhancements.
The C.O.D.E. series includes a few changes that set it apart from the standard Omega synths, such as eight sinewave generators for oscillator one for more timbral complexity, an enhanced filter control section and extra MIDI CC functionality.
Based on eight discreet voices, equipped with MiniMoog and SEM inspired filter voicing, this powerhouse analogue polysynth allows for full multi-timbrality, deep editing and is even expandable with SE’s range of aftermarket add-in filter cards, with models from the 303, 2600, CS-80 and Juno / Jupiter available.
Studio Electronics have been building uncompromising analogue circuits for almost four decades, and their CODE Omega range is the crème de la crème of their rack-synth lineup, with real discrete analogue voices, deep MIDI implementation and stereo outputs per voice.
