Owned since new in a professional private studio environment, the console remains in excellent condition. The sale includes the console in its standard configuration complete with legs and trim. The API 500 series unit, modules, patchbay rack and patchbay contents do not form part of the sale.

SSL equips Origin with a 32-channel in-line design and 16+2 bus architecture, providing extensive routing capabilities for complex recording, summing and mix sessions. PureDrive Microphone Preamps

Origin features SSL’s PureDrive microphone preamp design, developed to deliver both ultra-clean capture and harmonic character from the same circuit. In Pure mode, the FET-based preamp provides extremely low noise, high headroom and transparent signal amplification suited to critical recording applications.

Engaging the Drive circuit introduces gain-dependent harmonic saturation, adding warmth, density and analogue character while retaining clarity and detail.
