The Locomotive Audio WT-Comp is designed around two vacuum tubes that control the gain reduction as well as the amount of harmonic distortion. The WT-Comp has two modes, a “Round” mode that delivers smooth and euphonic compression and a “Drive” mode that exhibits more pronounced and colourful harmonic saturation.
