Apogee

Founded in California in 1985 by audio engineer Betty Bennett and digital audio pioneer Bruce Jackson. Working closely with leading engineers including Bob Clearmountain during the early development of its digital systems, Apogee helped establish new standards for converter quality, clocking accuracy, and professional digital audio performance..

In 2025, the company entered a new chapter following its acquisition by audio entrepreneur Dirk Ulrich and Rockforce Tech Holding, bringing Apogee together with Manley Labs under a shared vision for high-end professional audio development.

Best known for its high-end audio interfaces, AD/DA converters, and studio clocking technology, Apogee equipment is engineered to deliver exceptional clarity, low-latency performance, and accurate digital capture.

Widely used across professional studios, mobile production setups, and mastering environments, Apogee systems combine refined analogue design with advanced digital engineering to provide reliable, studio-grade performance for modern music production workflows.
