The 1010music Bitbox Micro is a compact 18 HP Eurorack sampler and looper with 8 stereo sample pads, 24-note stereo polyphony, real-time recording, CV and MIDI control, and microSD streaming of samples up to 4 GB.

Efficient Sampling for Compact Racks

Designed for space-conscious Eurorack setups, Bitbox micro offers a powerful sampling engine with 8 stereo sample pads per preset. Each pad can function as a single sample, multi-sample, loop clip, slicer, granular voice, or live recording slot. The module supports up to 24 stereo polyphonic voices within its 64 MB internal memory and streams larger samples from microSD cards with a maximum individual sample size of 4 GB.

Flexible Triggering and Playback Control

Samples can be triggered using the responsive touchscreen, CV gate inputs, or MIDI. Playback parameters include pitch, gain, start position, sample length, loop modes, filters, launch quantisation, ADSR, slice placement, exclusive grouping, and synchronisation. Granular controls include grain size, spread, and count, with full MIDI note and channel mapping for precise integration.

Advanced Recording Functions

Users can record stereo audio directly into the module with clock-synced start/stop or audio threshold triggers. The module enables live looping with automatic playback immediately after recording, as well as precise loop capture using pre-set durations. Bitbox micro also features onboard resampling of the master output and supports automated multisample recording via CV or MIDI.

Workflow and Integration

With a 3.5-inch touchscreen interface and intuitive layout, Bitbox micro offers efficient hands-on control for live or studio use. It stores recordings as WAV files on a removable microSD card, which also enables quick sample transfer to and from a computer. Multiple presets can be saved and recalled, preserving all sample configurations and modulation assignments for future sessions.

Modular Compatibility and Build

Occupying only 18 HP and requiring +400mA of power, Bitbox micro fits neatly into compact systems. It integrates smoothly with modular environments, offering deep control via CV and MIDI while delivering high-performance sampling and playback in a small form factor.
