The 1010music Bitbox micro is a compact Eurorack-format touchscreen sampler that supports 8 stereo sample pads, real-time recording, sample streaming, and advanced modulation in only 18 HP of rack space.
Compact Sampling Power
Bitbox micro offers up to 24-note stereo polyphony using the 64 MB of internal memory, and allows configuration of 8 stereo sample pads per preset. Each pad can operate as a one-shot, multi-sample, clip, slicer, granular player, or live recorder. The module streams long samples of up to 4 GB directly from a microSD card and supports stereo or mono recording through its dual audio inputs. The system enables users to trigger samples via touchscreen, CV gate, or MIDI input.
Real-Time Control and Modulation
Playback behaviour can be modified using parameters such as pitch, start point, length, gain, filters, loop modes, launch quantisation, ADSR envelopes, exclusive groups, clip sync, slicing, sequencing, and granular settings including grain size, spread, and count. MIDI and CV inputs enable remote triggering, multisample automation, and live modulation for expressive control.
Recording and Looping Capabilities
Users can record directly into the module with clock-synced start/stop or audio threshold triggers, and create perfect loops by setting the desired recording length. A live looping mode plays samples instantly after recording. Bitbox micro also supports resampling the master output without repatching, and recordings save as WAV files on the microSD card for direct file management via computer.

With its 3.5-inch touchscreen interface and minimal panel footprint, Bitbox micro provides an efficient workflow for live performance and modular integration. It allows saving and recalling multiple presets, enabling rapid transitions between projects. The unit measures 18 HP wide, draws +400mA power, and fits cases with 40 mm depth, making it ideal for portable or space-limited setups.
