1010music Bluebox – Compact Digital Mixer/Recorder

The 1010music Bluebox is a compact digital mixer and recorder that provides up to twelve mono or six stereo tracks, 48kHz 24-bit WAV recording, built-in effects, touchscreen control and full MIDI sync, all within a portable 450-gram unit measuring 5.5" x 5" x 2".

Compact Control for Complex Setups

Bluebox offers flexible routing and independent control over each track’s volume, pan, mute, solo, EQ and effects, making it an essential hub for electronic music rigs. It features three stereo 3.5mm TRS outputs and supports multitrack or stereo recording directly to microSD. With the ability to simultaneously record and play back tracks, users can overdub or build complex arrangements on the fly. A four-band EQ per track allows detailed tonal shaping, while reverb, delay and compression provide professional-grade processing. Users can monitor previously recorded material while capturing new performances in real time.

Touchscreen Workflow and Physical Control

A 3.5” touchscreen display provides fast, visual access to mixing parameters, supported by four tactile knobs and eleven physical buttons for transport, navigation and quick access to key controls. Bluebox’s “Track Mode” streamlines workflow by focusing on one channel at a time, giving precise control for live mixing or studio editing. All project settings, including track parameters, output routing and effects, can be saved and recalled for future sessions.

Seamless Integration with External Gear

MIDI I/O lets Bluebox synchronise its internal clock with external drum machines, sequencers and synths, enabling tight timing for effects and track triggering. It also supports MIDI clock output, perfect for locking multiple devices to a central timeline. Firmware updates and project management occur via the microSD card, which also comes preloaded with the Bluebox firmware and starter project files.
