The 1010music Bluebox Eurorack Edition is a compact and powerful Eurorack-format digital mixer and recorder that combines multi-track mixing, CV control, high-resolution recording and playback, and studio-grade effects in one module.
This Eurorack mixer supports 12 mono or 6 stereo tracks, allowing users to mix live or pre-recorded audio with precision. It offers two independently controlled stereo outputs, which can also function as four mono outputs, alongside a dedicated stereo headphone output. Each track features a four-band EQ with Cut, Shelf, and Parametric modes for detailed tonal shaping. Users can route any track to any output combination, offering flexible monitoring and summing options. The unit records and plays 48kHz, 24-bit WAV files via a microSD card, and enables simultaneous playback of pre-recorded tracks while recording new ones.
Through the USB-C EXT port, the Bluebox Eurorack Edition streams two channels of audio in both directions, making it ideal for DAW integration or live performance setups. A second USB-C port allows for MIDI control and sync with external devices. TRS MIDI In and Out expand its compatibility with other MIDI hardware, enabling clock sync and MIDI-based effect timing.
Six CV inputs provide voltage control over key mix parameters, allowing real-time modulation directly from the Eurorack environment. The unit also outputs clock signals to sync other modules. This integration ensures seamless operation in complex modular setups.
The mixer includes high-quality reverb and delay effects, each with independent sends per track. A global compressor helps unify the final mix and enhance loudness, offering polished output suitable for both performance and recording. Touchscreen gestures, four rotary knobs, eight navigation buttons, and three transport buttons deliver intuitive control over all parameters.
The 3.5-inch touchscreen offers responsive control for quick access to mixing functions and effects settings. The unit features a durable aluminium faceplate built for the demands of Eurorack systems and includes ample headroom to handle signals up to ±5V, ensuring clean signal paths with modular gear.
Users can save and recall entire project states, including track parameters, effects, routing, and output settings. Firmware updates and session data are managed via microSD, ensuring future compatibility and expandability.
