The Antelope Audio Edge Quadro is a stereo modelling large-diaphragm condenser microphone with two capsules with dual membrane for polar pattern control and stereo applications, powered by Antelope’s library of microphone emulations.
The Antelope Audio Edge Quadro boasts two capsules with dual 6-micron edge-terminated gold-sputtered membrane each for a total of four channels of independent processing covering all stereo techniques (M/S, X/Y Blumlein) as well as 360-degree sound recording.
The upper head can be rotated silently at any angle to offer the ultimate combination, all while recording, allowing you to monitor the different options before capturing the source.
Combined with Antelope’s Mic modelling technology, the Edge Quadro offers accurate emulations of classic vintage microphones that you can combine within the software to create the ideal combination. It includes 18 of the most iconic microphones:
The Edge Quadro is primarily designed to work with Antelope’s high-quality preamps and conversion technology, delivering accurate modelling with near-zero latency thanks to Antelope’s built-in FGPA processing capabilities.
However, this modelling microphone can be used with any third-party audio interface thanks to Antelope’s native mic emulation plug-in, providing the same functionality inside your favourite DAW with minimal latency. It comes as VST, AU and AAX for maximum compatibility and works on both MacOS and Windows.
