Design & Playability
The 37‑note Slimkey keyboard delivers velocity‑sensitive keys with after‑touch, allowing expressive performance in a small footprint. Two capacitive touch strips provide real‑time pitch‑bend and modulation, while built‑in chord and scale modes generate harmonic ideas instantly.
Sequencing & Generative Tools
A polyphonic step sequencer supports up to 64 steps and eight‑voice polyphony, feeding a 16‑mode arpeggiator that produces evolving patterns. The Mutate, Spice and Dice utilities inject variation on‑the‑fly, letting users reshape riffs, alter octaves, modify note lengths, insert silences and record bend and wheel automation without leaving the instrument.
Control Interface
Four dedicated encoders sit beside a clickable OLED display, granting immediate hands‑on control over arpeggiator, sequencer and Mutate parameters. Each encoder doubles as a programmable MIDI CC, while a separate control button expands assignable functions across all modes.
Connectivity
The unit offers USB‑C class‑compliant MIDI, traditional MIDI DIN In/Out, 3.5 mm sync I/O and a sustain/expression pedal input. Four CV outputs – Pitch, Gate, Mod 1 and the newly added Mod 2 – map to velocity, after‑touch, mod‑wheel and other sources, enabling precise control of modular rigs and hardware synths.
