Playability
KeyStep mk2 uses Arturia’s velocity-sensitive Slimkey keyboard with aftertouch, giving musicians an expressive keybed in a small footprint. Capacitive pitch and modulation strips deliver smooth real-time shaping, while integrated chord and scale modes allow instant harmonic exploration without complex setup.
Creative Sequencing
This controller integrates a polyphonic step sequencer that records in real time or step time, supporting up to eight voices per step. Pattern chaining enables full song creation, while tools like Mutate, Spice, Dice, and the addition of ties and rests transform sequences into evolving compositions. An advanced 16-mode arpeggiator provides multiple pattern types, from traditional cycles to generative, experimental textures.

Four assignable CV outputs (Pitch, Gate, Mod 1, Mod 2) ensure flexible control over modular setups, while modern USB-C power minimises cabling and maximises portability.
