The mechanical keybed recreates the response of real saxophone and wind-instrument keys, so it avoids the shallow, flat button layouts found on most wind controllers. Multiple fingering modes, scale and key-locking options, a nine-octave range and extensive transposition controls give players the freedom to handle complex passages with precision. The breath force sensor responds to micro-dynamics, the reed bite sensor shapes timbre in real time and the integrated gyro tracks physical movement to open up motion-driven modulation. Two pressure-sensitive touchpads, three programmable switches and a smooth X/Y joystick allow intricate performance routing that suits both traditional phrasing and experimental sound design.
Hydrasynth Power with a New Sample Oscillator
Diosynth expands the Hydrasynth architecture with a dedicated sample playback oscillator, enabling the blending of wavescan synthesis and high-quality sampling. ASM captured 128 distinctive reed, brass, fipple, string and rare world instruments, including contrabass flute, Eb Tubax and Peruvian llama whistle. With 219 synthesiser waveforms, 768 patch locations and 384 factory sounds, players can switch from authentic acoustic articulation to layered hybrid patches that combine up to four Hydrasynth oscillators and two sample voices. The 16-mode filter provides detailed tone shaping, while dual insert effects per part and extensive master send effects supply everything from reverbs, delays and rotary processing to overdrive, EQ, compression, phasing and tempo-synced modulation.
Flexible Connectivity and Gig-Ready Design
Diosynth offers professional connectivity with quarter-inch line out for mono or stereo operation, a dedicated headphone output with its own volume control, MIDI DIN in and out, USB MIDI and audio, and Bluetooth MIDI for wireless control. Bluetooth audio input allows players to practise with streamed music, and the built-in 2-watt speaker provides immediate monitoring without external gear. Diosynth runs on USB-C power or two 18650 lithium batteries for portable use. Its editor software for Mac, PC, iOS and Android streamlines patch editing, performance mapping and system configuration.
