High-Channel Count Recording
With 32 analogue inputs and outputs, the Horizon 32 supports extensive recording setups, making it perfect for commercial studios and large hardware systems.
The Audient Horizon 32 is a flagship 50-in/50-out Thunderbolt 3 audio interface created for commercial studios, console-based control rooms, scoring facilities, and large hardware systems. With 32 analogue line inputs and 32 line outputs in a single rack unit, it can bridge an entire console or extensive outboard rack directly to your DAW.
Eight DB25 connectors provide 64 channels of space-efficient analogue conversion, making the Horizon 32 an ideal foundation for high-channel-count recording, hybrid mixing, and large synth installations. Dedicated stereo monitor outputs and mix-bus capture keep monitoring and final-print workflows close at hand.
Reference-grade 32-bit conversion provides up to 133 dB of dynamic range at sample rates up to 192 kHz. The native Thunderbolt 3 connection offers stated latency as low as 0.99 ms, enabling real-time use of native plug-ins without locking the studio into a proprietary DSP platform.
Horizon Control lets you route any input to any output from a virtual patchbay, create custom cue mixes, recall complete routing and monitoring configurations, and manage speaker systems up to 9.1.6. Dual ADAT and BNC word-clock connectivity support digital expansion and studio synchronisation. For even larger installations, as many as four Horizon units can operate together as a single system with up to 200 x 200 channels.
