The Audient Horizon 8P is a flagship 24-in/32-out Thunderbolt 3 audio interface built for tracking producers, bands, and project studios. Eight Audient console microphone preamps deliver up to 75 dB of gain, while eight dedicated line inputs make it easy to keep outboard equipment connected and ready for mixing.

AURA Control lets you alter each preamp’s input impedance in the analogue domain, giving you a choice of microphone voicings without digital modelling. Smartgain accelerates multichannel setup, while digital recall allows input gain, routing, and monitoring configurations to be saved with your sessions.

Reference-grade 32-bit conversion offers up to 133 dB of dynamic range, with performance up to 192 kHz. Thunderbolt 3 connectivity delivers latency as low as 0.99 ms under the stated operating conditions, allowing you to monitor through native plug-ins without relying on a proprietary DSP ecosystem.

Horizon Control brings routing, metering, cue mixes, and monitor management together in one application. Create a virtual patchbay, build four custom cue mixes, add comfort reverb for performers, and configure monitoring systems up to 9.1.6. Dual ADAT and word-clock connectivity provide room for expansion, while two headphone outputs and two stereo monitor outputs make the Horizon 8P a complete recording and monitoring centre in a single rack unit.
