The Avid S1 is a eight-fader EUCON control surface designed to work in conjunction with their Pro Tools Control app for iPad to provide hands-on control of your audio and video software.
The Avid S1 features eight motorised, touch-sensitive faders and knobs as well as touchscreen-integrated keys. It provides deep hands-on control and the speed, visual feedback and software integration provided by Avid’s high-end consoles in a streamlined and ergonomic platform. Soft keys also enable the user to perform complex tasks at the press of a single button to speed up your process.
Using EUCON’s ethernet control protocol, the S1 delivers deep hardware and software integration with tactile control of Avid and third-party software functions. EUCON also makes it possible to seamlessly switch between several workstations at the touch of a button.
Out of the box, the S1 provides valuable insight thanks to its high-res OLED displays. Combining the S1 with the Pro Tools Control iPad app will unlock, rich visual feedback that will enhance your workflow. Track names, parameter values, and S6-style monitoring, channel processing views and more are all easily accessible via the app, giving you a high-end console workflow in a small surface.
Up to four S1 can be chained together to provide a 32 faders mixing console, with more tactile controls larger mixes. The S1 can also be connected to the Pro Tools Dock to add dedicated transport controls and more.
