The Black Lion Audio Auteur Quad is a four-channel mic preamp based on the Auteur MkII mic pre.
The Black Lion Audio Auteur Quad uses a transparent IC based front and delivers a fat and colourful tone thanks to the Edcor transformers. Extremely versatile, the Auteur Quad is great at adding thickness while maintaining clarity and transient response. This makes it great on drums or vocals.
The Auteur Quad sees the addition of a brand new meter on each channel and the DI circuit used on the Auteur 500 module.
