The Chandler Limited EMI TG Opto is a 500 Series adaptation of the opto compressor found in the TG12313 and developed under licence of EMI/Abbey Road.

The Chandler Limited EMI TG Opto is fully discrete and delivers the same larger than life sonic character as the TG1 Opto, Zener Limiters and TG Cassette and complements the TG12345 MkIV EQ and TG2-500 mic preamp to recreate an EMi/Abbey Road TG12345 console channel strip. The TG Opto offers two personalities that are dependent on the knee control. In rounded mode the TG opto offers smooth compression while in Sharp mode it exhibits more explosive sounds, ideal for drums.

In addition to the knee control, this dual-slot 500 series compressor boasts input and output levels, attack and release, all on continuous variable controls allowing for fine tune compression.
