Intuitive Touchscreen Control
The 5-inch capacitive touchscreen allows for instant access to level controls, EQ, and routing options, enhancing user experience and speeding up adjustments during live performances.
The Digital Audio Labs Livemix Pro Solo is a high‑performance personal mixer that delivers 5‑inch capacitive‑touch control, CAT5e/6 power‑over‑Ethernet with pass‑through for an extra Pro Solo, ¼‑inch and ⅛‑inch TRS outputs, Ethercon connectors and a USB port for saving mixes and global settings, all priced at $874.99 MSRP.
The 5‑inch capacitive touchscreen replaces traditional faders with a responsive surface that registers finger taps instantly. Selecting a channel brings up level controls, pan, EQ and routing options without navigating menus. Dedicated master, adjust and Me Group knobs sit beside the display, granting tactile precision for rapid tweaks during live shows or studio sessions. Users benefit from a visual layout that mirrors a full‑size console while occupying a fraction of the footprint.
Livemix Pro Solo draws power and audio data through a single CAT5e or CAT6 cable, streamlining cabling on stage and in control rooms. The pass‑through capability forwards power to a second Pro Solo unit, eliminating the need for additional power supplies and reducing rack space. This design improves reliability by minimising connection points and simplifies deployment in touring rigs where speed and robustness matter.
Balanced ¼‑inch and ⅛‑inch TRS outputs deliver clean, noise‑free signals to monitors, amplifiers or recording devices. Ethercon connectors lock securely into Ethernet ports, protecting against accidental disengagement during transport. The USB jack records the entire mix configuration, enabling engineers to back up presets, recall favourite setups and transfer settings between venues with a single click.
Livemix Pro expands to accommodate up to 64 channels, making it suitable for small bands, large ensembles or broadcast productions. The central mixer/distributor matches the total number of mixes required, while personal mixers—PRO‑SOLO, PRO‑SOLO MD and PRO‑DUO—provide one, one with additional monitoring features, or two independent mixes respectively. This modularity reduces stage clutter, cuts costs and allows users to grow the system without redesigning the entire audio architecture. Optional MT‑1 mic‑stand mounts and accessories further customise the layout for ergonomic placement on‑stage.
