The Drawmer 1974 offers one set of controls for both Left and Right channels with precision stepped potentiometers for accurate settings as well as fast and simple recalls. Each of the four band includes +/-12dB of gain and wide-ranging frequency options with generous overlap. Both mid bands also include a fully variable bandwidth control for highly precise setting of the Q. Both Low and High bands use shelf curves with 6dB or 12dB per octave slopes, however, the Low band includes an additional 9dB/oct slope as well as a peak mode which adds a resonant curve boost the frequency point and rolling off very quickly. This is particularly useful to boost kick drum while maintaining a tight and punchy sound.
The Drawmer 1974 also boasts fully variable Low Cut and High Cut filters with ranges of 10Hz to 225Hz and 4kHz-32kHz for precision setting. Use them to remove rumble and/or hiss from your tracks, keeping only the important part of your sound for a tight sound and gain extra headroom.
