The Electric and Company EC3 is a single-channel mic preamp based on the classic Ampex 351 amplifier circuit.
The Electric and Company EC3 adds many features including 12AX7 and 12AU7 valves, a Jensen input transformer and a Cinemag output transformer. It provides up to 70dB of gain and boasts a high-quality DI input, as well as a DC coupled-push/pull output stage. Furthermore, it also includes the best Mil-Spec resistors and boutique capacitors.
The EC3 produces a rich sound full of attitude and colour.
