The Erica Synths Steampipe is a true physical modelling synthesizer developed through a close collaboration between Erica Synths and the Dutch company 112dB.com. It offers 8-voice polyphony and features an advanced physical modelling engine with 32 adjustable parameters, enabling detailed and dynamic sound shaping. The synthesizer includes five assignable LFOs with delay and sync capabilities, as well as an extensive modulation matrix that supports MIDI controller-specific configurations, allowing for flexible and intricate sound design.

Preset Flexibility and MIDI Integration

The Steampipe provides extensive preset options with 64 factory presets and memory space for up to 192 user presets. Users can easily export and import presets via USB, making it a convenient tool for both studio and live performances. MIDI integration is robust, featuring DIN5 MIDI input, MIDI Thru/Out, and full MIDI CC control over all parameters. For audio output, the Steampipe offers both stereo line-level and dedicated headphone outputs.
