Forged from the collaboration between Erica Synths and Hexinverter, the HexDrums embodies a fusion of precision engineering and raw sonic power. The unit features ten distinct analogue sound sources inspired by the acclaimed Mutant series, including two independent kick drum engines (BD9 and Bass Drum), an optimised Mutant Machine, Snare, Clap, Rimshot, and HiHats. To extend its tonal range, the HexDrums integrates Erica Synths’ Cymbals section, providing ten sets of crash and ride cymbal samples.

Each drum voice includes individual outputs, allowing flexible routing and external processing, while the master section offers stereo panning, an onboard compressor, and a drive circuit derived from the renowned Mutant Glue for additional saturation and punch.

Its X0X-style sequencer gives a fluid, hands-on workflow ideal for studio or stage, supporting up to 64-step patterns with advanced performance features such as accents, per-step microtiming, ratchets, rolls, and probability control. With 16 banks of 16 patterns, a song mode, and USB memory backup, it provides a complete sequencing environment for complex rhythmic arrangements.
