Fully analogue, Eurorack-format multimode filter featuring four filter types, three unique resonance paths, two voltage-controllable feedback functions, a discrete transistor distortion circuit, an integrated preamplifier, dual audio inputs, and dual CV control including one with an attenuator.

Euterpe Itinera is a fully analogue, Eurorack-format multimode voltage-controlled filter (VCF) derived from the original Vertice Seconda Serie Analogue Filterbank, integrating advanced timbral shaping capabilities and modern modular connectivity.

Euterpe Itinera translates the acclaimed 1974 Vertice Analog Filterbank circuitry into a compact and powerful 14HP Eurorack module. At its core is a versatile multimode filter, offering low-pass, band-pass, high-pass, and notch responses. This filter architecture originates from the first channel of the Seconda Serie and has been reimagined to serve a new generation of modular users while retaining its sonic character and analogue purity.

The resonance section provides three distinct signal paths: diode-based for a smoother response, transistor-based for a sharper, more aggressive tone, and the unique 'Innesco' path which introduces dynamic saturation behaviour. These modes offer highly varied resonance characteristics, giving designers a broad spectrum of harmonic shaping options.

Itinera’s filter circuit interacts with two powerful, CV-controllable feedback functions. The Formant feedback path introduces vowel-like resonances and enhances spectral articulation, while Vindicta introduces a chaotic, aggressive feedback loop ideal for noise and experimental textures. Both feedback paths respond well to modulation and enable Itinera to move well beyond conventional filter behaviour.

The preamplifier section ensures compatibility with a range of signal levels while adding a subtle colouration. When more grit is needed, the discrete transistor-based distortion circuit adds controlled saturation, pushing signals into a musically rich harmonic territory. With two audio inputs, users can blend or crossfade sound sources pre-filter for additional complexity.

Modulation capabilities include two CV inputs for frequency control, one of which features an onboard attenuator for precise control over filter movement. This flexibility allows for intricate automation and dynamic spectral shifts when integrated into larger modular systems.

The unit weighs 260g and operates on a standard +/-12V Eurorack power rail configuration, respecting the red stripe orientation for polarity protection.
