The EVE Audio SC4070 builds on the acclaimed SC407 platform and introduces further refinements in driver technology, amplifier performance, and overall sonic accuracy. Designed for professional control rooms, the SC4070 delivers an exceptionally balanced frequency response with outstanding detail across the entire audio spectrum.
Its advanced 4-way architecture combines dual 6.5-inch SilverCone woofers, a dedicated 4-inch midrange driver and EVE Audio's proprietary AMT RS3.1 tweeter. This configuration enables the monitor to reproduce complex programme material with remarkable precision while maintaining clarity at both low and high listening levels.
The SC4070 employs two custom-designed 6.5-inch SilverCone woofers featuring specialised 1.5-inch voice coils. Both woofers operate together up to 280Hz, extending bass response down to 32Hz while reducing distortion and increasing headroom.
The combination of glass-fibre coated diaphragms and lightweight honeycomb construction creates a highly rigid driver structure that delivers tight, controlled bass reproduction with excellent transient response. This design allows engineers to accurately assess low-frequency content without sacrificing speed or definition.
A specially developed 4-inch SilverCone midrange driver handles critical vocal and instrumental frequencies with outstanding accuracy. The driver offers greater linear excursion and maintains clarity throughout the midrange spectrum, allowing precise monitoring of mix balance, tonal character and detail.
The low-distortion copper cap magnet system further improves linearity and reduces unwanted artefacts, ensuring transparent reproduction of complex programme material.
At the heart of the SC4070's high-frequency performance lies EVE Audio's proprietary AMT RS3.1 Air Motion Transformer tweeter. The hand-folded diaphragm operates within a powerful neodymium magnetic field, moving air at a significantly greater rate than conventional dome tweeters.
This technology produces exceptionally detailed high frequencies with extremely low distortion, fast transient response and excellent dynamic capability. The tweeter extends frequency reproduction up to 40kHz, ensuring outstanding detail retrieval and natural high-frequency reproduction.
Each individual driver within the SC4070 receives power from its own dedicated PWM amplifier. This configuration delivers a combined output power of 1000W per speaker, ensuring optimal driver control and maximum efficiency.

Engineers can adjust high-frequency shelving, midrange equalisation, low-frequency shelving and desk compensation filters to optimise performance within their listening environment. The system stores settings internally and includes a parameter lock function to prevent accidental changes.
Unlike traditional front-ported designs, the SC4070 uses a carefully tuned rear rectangular bass reflex port. The larger port design improves low-frequency efficiency while reducing turbulence and compression effects at higher playback levels.
