The Graham Audio BBC LS5/8 is a high quality two-way passive speaker originally built by the BBC and improved to offer better bass response and higher levels.
The Graham Audio BBC LS5/8 uses a unique 12 inch bass/mid driver developed by Volt Loudspeakers using polypropylene to offer greater efficiency and lower colouration. It is coupled to a 34mm Audax tweeter. These are allied thanks to a passive crossover that substantially improves the resolution and imaging while remaining within the demanding BBC Licence specs.
The LS5/8 and LS5/9 share the same characteristics ensuring continuity between recording, mixing and mastering.
