Rich Analogue Tones
Experience warm, detailed sound with a fully analogue signal path, ensuring stability and reliability for modern production workflows and live performances.
The GS Music Bree6 Keyboard Black is a six-voice polyphonic analogue synthesizer with a 37-note keyboard, delivering a fully analogue signal path with a dedicated VCO and sub-oscillator per voice, a 24dB ladder filter, dual ADSR envelopes, an LFO, integrated stereo effects, and MPE compatibility for expressive performance.
The GS Music Bree6 blends classic analogue synthesis principles with modern control and integration. Each voice follows a discrete analogue path, starting with a voltage-controlled oscillator supported by a sub-oscillator that strengthens the low-frequency range. The oscillator section offers sawtooth and pulse waveforms, while pulse width modulation driven by the LFO introduces movement and harmonic complexity. This architecture delivers a warm, detailed tone with the stability required in current production workflows.
The built-in 37-note keyboard provides a self-contained playing experience, allowing direct interaction without reliance on external controllers while maintaining responsive and expressive performance capability.
A 4-pole low-pass ladder filter with a 24dB per octave slope shapes the core sound, producing the familiar depth and resonance associated with analogue circuitry. The filter responds dynamically to multiple modulation sources, including envelope generators, LFO, velocity, aftertouch, and modulation wheel input. Two ADSR envelope generators control both amplitude and filter behaviour, enabling precise sculpting from sharp attacks to evolving textures.
The modulation section includes a versatile LFO with selectable waveforms such as triangle, ramp up, ramp down, square, and sample-and-hold. Operating across a broad frequency range, the LFO modulates pitch, filter cutoff, and amplitude, supporting both subtle movement and more complex modulation effects. This flexibility allows the instrument to move beyond traditional subtractive synthesis into more experimental territory.
An onboard stereo effects processor enhances the analogue signal without external units. The chorus effect thickens and widens sounds through modulated delay techniques, while the stereo delay introduces spatial depth with up to one second of delay time. The high-resolution DSP ensures clarity while complementing the analogue tone.
The one-knob-per-function layout provides immediate access to all parameters, removing the need for menu navigation. This approach supports efficient sound design and real-time adjustments, making the instrument equally effective in studio environments and live performance situations.
MIDI Polyphonic Expression support allows independent control of each note, enabling detailed articulation through compatible controllers. Performers can shape pitch, pressure, and timbre per note, significantly expanding expressive potential.
The synthesizer connects easily to a range of setups via MIDI In, Out, and Thru, alongside USB integration. Balanced stereo outputs deliver clean signal routing in professional environments, while the headphone output allows for direct monitoring. CV inputs provide compatibility with modular systems, extending its role within analogue configurations.
