The iConnectivity mioXL features 8 in x 12 out 5-pin DIN-MIDI ports, allowing extensive connectivity for traditional MIDI devices. It includes 10 USB-MIDI host ports, which support multiple USB-MIDI class-compliant devices, offering flexibility for both live and studio setups. Its Ethernet RTP-MIDI network port creates 22 virtual network ports that can be assigned to onboard DIN and USB ports or connected devices, enabling access to all MIDI equipment via a single Ethernet connection and supporting Mac, PC, iOS, and other mobile platforms.

The mioXL can connect multiple computers through assignable virtual network ports, allowing comprehensive control across systems, and includes a USB computer port that provides direct connectivity with Mac, Windows, and iOS (via Camera Connection Kit). Thanks to its class-compliant plug-and-play functionality, the mioXL requires no drivers, making setup and operation straightforward. It features an OLED display with a rotary encoder for intuitive navigation of presets and real-time monitoring of MIDI traffic. Additionally, the Auracle™ configuration software, available for Mac and Windows, simplifies the creation and saving of complex filtering, routing, and merging presets. For added versatility, the mioXL supports iOS device connectivity through wired connections, Wi-Fi (using third-party hubs), or direct Ethernet.
