Unmatched Sound Clarity
Experience high-resolution audio with precise DSP control, ensuring every detail is captured and reproduced accurately for professional mixing and mastering environments.
The Kii THREE System with Kii CONTROL Fine Touch White is a high-resolution DSP-controlled active studio monitoring system featuring 1,500W of Class D amplification per speaker, six individually driven transducers, Active Wave Focusing controlled directivity, extended low-frequency reproduction, adjustable phase response, comprehensive room-placement correction and high-resolution analogue and digital connectivity, finished in Kii Audio's distinctive Fine Touch White.
The Kii THREE System combines advanced DSP processing, dedicated amplification and controlled directivity to deliver full-range monitoring performance from a compact enclosure measuring just 20 x 40 x 40cm per speaker.
Each Kii THREE incorporates four 6.5-inch woofers, one 5-inch midrange driver and one 1-inch waveguided tweeter. Six dedicated 250W Class D amplifier channels drive the individual transducers, providing a total of 1,500W of amplification per speaker. This fully active architecture gives the DSP precise control over crossover behaviour, phase response, driver optimisation and protection.
The Fine Touch White finish gives the system a clean, understated appearance suitable for professional studios, mastering rooms and high-end listening environments while retaining the same acoustic architecture and performance as other Kii THREE finishes.
Kii Audio's Active Wave Focusing technology controls the Kii THREE's dispersion through the bass and lower-midrange frequencies. DSP coordinates the front, side and rear-mounted transducers to minimise unwanted rearward acoustic energy and create a controlled cardioid radiation pattern.
This approach reduces interaction between the monitors and surrounding walls, helping engineers hear more of the loudspeaker and less of the room. Reduced boundary interaction can improve low-frequency definition, stereo imaging and overall consistency, particularly in compact control rooms where conventional monitors can excite problematic reflections.
The Kii THREE achieves low-frequency extension down to 20Hz at -6dB despite its compact cabinet dimensions. Four 6.5-inch woofers per speaker combine with substantial amplification and DSP control to provide the low-frequency extension normally associated with significantly larger monitoring systems.
This performance allows the Kii THREE to operate as a genuinely full-range monitoring solution in many professional applications without automatically requiring a separate subwoofer.
The Kii THREE provides adjustable phase behaviour to suit different monitoring requirements. Linear-phase operation prioritises phase coherence for critical mixing, mastering and high-resolution listening, while Minimum Latency operation reduces processing delay when recording, performing or working with time-sensitive audio.
Kii also provides extensive boundary and placement adjustment. The system can compensate for different positions relative to walls and corners, allowing users to optimise the monitors for their installation rather than relying exclusively on physical positioning or additional acoustic processing.
These controls complement Active Wave Focusing by addressing the relationship between the speaker and the listening environment at system level.
Each Kii THREE contains six 250W Class D amplifier channels, delivering 1,500W of total amplification per speaker. Dedicated amplification for every transducer allows the system to control each driver directly rather than dividing amplifier power through a conventional passive crossover.
Integrated DSP coordinates amplification, crossover behaviour and driver protection, allowing the complete loudspeaker to operate as a unified electro-acoustic system. This architecture also removes the need to select and match separate external power amplifiers.
The included Kii CONTROL expands the Kii THREE System with centralised monitoring, digital preamplification and additional digital connectivity.
Its large rotary control provides precise level adjustment, while capacitive touch controls offer direct source selection and menu navigation. A full-colour OLED display provides clear visual feedback, and users can configure up to six presets for frequently used monitoring settings.
Kii CONTROL connects directly to the master Kii THREE through KiiLink, carrying power and data without requiring a separate controller power supply. IR remote support also provides convenient control over essential functions.
Kii CONTROL adds coaxial SPDIF, optical TOSLINK and USB inputs alongside the connectivity provided by the Kii THREE itself. USB supports PCM audio up to 24-bit/384kHz as well as DSD64 and DSD128, providing direct integration with high-resolution digital sources.
Direct source selection for SPDIF, TOSLINK, USB and XLR allows the system to accommodate professional studio equipment and high-end playback sources without requiring a conventional external preamplifier or monitor controller.
Fine Touch White forms part of Kii Audio's standard finish range for the Kii THREE. The understated white cabinet contrasts with the darker driver and trim elements, creating a contemporary appearance that works particularly well in modern control rooms, production suites and high-end listening spaces.
The finish changes the visual presentation rather than the acoustic specification, so the Fine Touch White system retains the full DSP, amplification, connectivity and Active Wave Focusing capabilities of the Kii THREE platform.
The modular Kii architecture allows the Kii THREE System to expand with Kii BXT bass extension modules. BXT integrates with the THREE to create a larger floorstanding system with greater low-frequency capability, headroom and directivity control.
This upgrade path allows the Kii THREE to remain at the centre of the monitoring system as requirements develop, rather than requiring replacement with an entirely different loudspeaker platform.
Hear critical mix decisions more clearly: Active Wave Focusing reduces unwanted room interaction, helping engineers evaluate balance, EQ, dynamics and stereo placement with greater confidence.
Achieve full-range monitoring without oversized cabinets: Extension down to 20Hz at -6dB delivers substantial low-frequency information from a remarkably compact enclosure.
Reduce reliance on the listening room: Controlled directivity and placement adjustment help the system maintain consistent performance in spaces where conventional loudspeakers can interact heavily with walls.
Simplify the monitoring chain: Integrated DSP, amplification and Kii CONTROL reduce the need for separate power amplifiers, digital preamps and monitor-control hardware.
Connect professional and high-resolution sources directly: Analogue, AES/EBU, SPDIF, TOSLINK and USB options accommodate studio interfaces, converters and high-resolution digital playback systems.
Switch between critical listening and low-latency workflows: Adjustable phase behaviour makes the system equally suited to mastering, mixing, production and recording applications.
Integrate monitoring into lighter studio interiors: Fine Touch White provides a clean, contemporary alternative to conventional dark studio monitor finishes without changing the technical performance.
Expand the system when requirements grow: Kii BXT compatibility provides a direct route towards a larger full-range monitoring system.
