IN STOCK & READY TO SHIP

The Korg Multi/Poly Digital Synthesizer delivers advanced analogue modelling synthesis with 60 voices of polyphony, four oscillators per program, dual modelled filters, Motion Sequencing 2.0 and Kaoss Physics modulation, production-grade effects, and robust semi-weighted keys in a compact aluminium chassis designed for studio and stage.

Detailed Analogue Modelling

The Multi/Poly employs next-generation analogue modelling, where each voice contains a Virtual Voice Card. These subtle variations generate organic, evolving timbres that replicate vintage hardware behaviour. Pitch drift, natural envelope shaping, and authentic filter responses provide the warmth and complexity associated with classic analogue synthesis while maintaining digital flexibility.

Oscillators and Layering

Four oscillators per program allow rich tonal construction. Classic waveforms supply vintage character, while digital wavetables expand into contemporary synthesis. Waveshaper oscillators inspired by West Coast techniques create harmonically complex tones, and noise, sync and cross-modulation add further depth. Up to four programs can be layered simultaneously, with Layer Rotate cycling through them for dynamic performances.

Motion Sequencing and Modulation

Motion Sequencing 2.0 separates timing, pitch, and shape sequences into independent lanes with loop points, probability, and randomisation for evolving textures. Kaoss Physics introduces real-time modulation via a virtual ball on an X/Y pad, translating performance gestures into expressive control. A wide selection of modulation sources and over 5,500 assignable destinations per performance ensure unparalleled creative freedom.

Filters and Sound Shaping

The dual filter section includes MS-20 LP/HP models, the Mono/Poly 4-pole self-resonant design, and smoother SE M/P variants. Routing options allow oscillators, noise, and ring modulation to be shaped in parallel or series. Audio-rate modulation, filter balance control, and a drive circuit range from subtle warmth to heavy distortion, giving full command of the tonal spectrum.

Performance and Build

The 37-key semi-weighted action responds to velocity and release-velocity, offering expressive playability. A sturdy aluminium panel with wooden side panels ensures durability. Smooth Sound Transitions and Set Lists make live switching seamless, avoiding cut-offs.

Effects and Connectivity

Built-in effects include pre-fx, modulation processors, delays, reverbs, and a 4-band EQ, eliminating the need for external units. Connectivity covers MIDI, USB, balanced stereo outs, headphone output, and damper pedal input. The supplied editor/librarian software supports detailed sound design and management on macOS and Windows.
