Korg combines the groundbreaking Operator Mixer interface with deep FM synthesis and expanded sound-shaping tools. The interface gives direct hands-on control of operators, envelopes and modulation, so programming FM sounds becomes creative rather than complex. Korg integrates additive, subtractive, analogue-style and waveshaping behaviours into the engine so the Opsix Module creates harmonically rich textures, convincing analogue tones and experimental digital timbres.

Advanced Hardware Connectivity

The new module format fits studio and touring environments. It mounts in a standard 19-inch rack or sits on a desktop with included angle brackets. Korg recesses the I/O panel to keep cabling clean and accessible, even when stacked. It responds to polyphonic aftertouch and MIDI 2.0 Property Exchange, allowing compatible controllers such as Keystage to send expressive per-note modulation. Korg updates hundreds of factory sounds to include poly aftertouch control and ensures compatibility with Opsix MkII, Opsix SE, Opsix Native and third-party libraries for long-term sound expansion.
