The Neve 88M features two Neve 88RS Marinair-coupled mic preamps, delivering the iconic, high-quality Neve sound directly from the world’s top studios to your personal recording setup.
KEY FEATURES
The Neve 88M is a 10in-10out USB-3.0 audio interface with two Neve 88RS mic/line/instrument preamp, large Marinair transformers and mastering-grade AD/DA conversion.
The Neve 88M delivers the sound of the Neve 88RS large console format used in Abbey Road, Air, and Capitol studios into a portable package.
It boasts two Neve 88RS Marinair-coupled mic preamps as well as Line and DI inputs fed directly into the transformer to deliver the highly sought-after Neve preamp sound.
In addition to the two mic preamps, the 88M includes eight digital inputs via ADAT bringing the total to 10 inputs. It also provides a total of 10 outputs including two monitors sends and eight digital outputs. Insert loops are also included for each channel, ideal to add external outboard in the recording chain. It also provides an additional output before the AD Converter stage or can be used to split the signal.
The premium AD/DA conversion ensures crystal-clear audio up to 24-bit/192kHz ensuring the recording signal is as pure as the signal going in.
The 88M also provides several built-in latency-free monitoring options for mono and stereo signal sources. The three monitoring sources let you quickly monitor the direct and daw signals as well as a mix of the two.
As expected from Neve, the 88M uses only premium components throughout the signal chain ensuring Neve’s outstanding quality in the studio or on the road. The premium casing is rugged making it ideal to take on the road.
The class-compliant USB audio interface is self-powered using the USB-3.0 connection allowing for quick connection to any laptop or computer to get recording in a matter of minutes.
