The Norand Mono mk2 is a cutting-edge monophonic synthesiser equipped with a bespoke soft overdrive circuit, a 3D sensor mini-keyboard, live play-head tracking and multi-pattern morphing, a 1024 PPQN sequencer system, a robust machined aluminium body, and RGB LEDs with intelligent colour coding for enhanced interface clarity.
MK2 incorporates four years of internal enhancements to the renowned discrete analogue path. It now features a bespoke soft overdrive circuit at the output, vastly expanding Mono’s sonic range.
MK2 introduces 3D sensors to the mini-keyboard, offering expressive control over each note, including velocity, aftertouch, pitch bend, and vertical modulation, all directly from the keyboard.
Including 3D sensors in the sequencer and page, keys allow for various new musical capabilities, such as live play-head tracking, multi-pattern morphing, and precise pattern manipulation.
MK2 utilises a 1024 PPQN sequencer system, enabling high-resolution automation recording with both knobs and keys. The 3D sequencer strip allows for precise creation and editing of these automation through curve mode.
In response to user feedback, MK2 has been redesigned with a fully machined aluminium body, paying meticulous attention to every detail.
A new row of buttons reflects software advancements over the years. All LEDs are now RGB, featuring clever colour coding for enhanced clarity and usability.
