The Nord Wave 2 is a versatile 4 part synthesizer with multiple synthesis engines, a superb performance focused workflow and a whopping 48 voices of polyphony.
Nord's original Wave synthesizer has widely been considered to be one of the most versatile and powerful synthesizers, upon its release in 2007 the Wave was adopted by many producers and performers due its deep sound design capabilities, stability and great layout.
Wave 2 greatly extends the capabilities of the original system, with 48 voices of polyphony, a fantastic layer focused interface, 4 deep synthesis engines, an enhanced delay section and much more.
To give greater visual feedback Nord have included dedicated OLED displays for the program AND the oscillator sections, meaning you can see what's running at all times. The new layer section features allow for simultaneous level and panning of all available layers and instant focus onto whatever layer you wish to edit. Super simple, super fast.
You can also choose to group all four of the sections toegther so they share the same filter, envelope, arp and modulation, letting you create deep, rich, multi layer sounds and have simple front panel control over all of them.
