The OXI One MkII provides 8 fully independent sequencers, each capable of supporting up to 8 tracks—totalling a maximum of 64 tracks. This makes it ideal for large-scale studio arrangements, modular rigs, or full-track live performances. Each sequencer mode supports advanced per-step editing, conditional logic, and multiple modulation lanes, granting total control over rhythm, pitch, velocity, and parameter automation.
The unit features six unique sequencing modes: Multitrack for parallel track control; Chord for intelligent harmonisation and voicing options; Polyphonic mode supporting up to seven voices with probabilistic editing; Monophonic mode with accumulator tools for complex melodic construction; Stochastic mode for algorithmic generative patterns; and Matriceal mode for experimental, rule-bending sequencing with independent parameter lanes.
The new FLOW performance layer allows users to add real-time modulation and dynamic variation without interrupting the sequence. A redesigned performance mode enhances expressiveness on stage or during hands-on studio sessions. The accumulator and repeat engines offer a powerful toolkit for creating evolving rhythmic patterns and layered textures.
With 8 modulation lanes per sequencer and 16 LFOs (two per sequencer), users can automate and shape every parameter with precision. Built-in generative tools such as Euclidean rhythm generators and step randomisation features drive innovation by transforming static loops into evolving sequences.
The arranger mode has been upgraded to allow drag-and-drop structuring of complex compositions. Users can create loops, transitions, and full tracks within a seamless workflow. Chord mode now includes scale-aware smart selection, chord arpeggiation, and synchronised harmonisation across multiple instruments.
The OXI One MkII includes 8 CV/Gate outputs, 2 CV inputs for modular interaction, MIDI DIN, USB Host/Device, Bluetooth, and full compatibility with the OXI Split V2 expander, which adds up to six MIDI ports and 96 channels. It supports DIN Sync for legacy gear, ensuring seamless hybrid studio setups.
A larger, high-contrast OLED display improves visibility and navigation. Backlit function buttons and four dedicated encoders streamline workflow with direct control over parameters. The device includes instant project loading with up to 20 onboard projects and unlimited SD card storage for grooves, scales, and presets. Battery life extends to 8 hours, making it ideal for portable use.
