KMR Audio - OXI Instruments OXI ONE MK2 NOSTALGIA
Multitrack hardware sequencer designed for MIDI, CV/Gate, and DAW workflows, offering eight independently configurable sequencers with up to 64 tracks, six operational modes including Chord and Stochastic, 128 multi-touch RGB pads, dual LFOs, arpeggiators, and loopers per sequencer, an extended modulation matrix with over 40 sources, Bluetooth MIDI support, real-time arrangement tools, and a sophisticated Chord Mode with over 150 chord variations—all housed in a robust, performance-oriented interface with expanded connectivity and storage options.

The Oxi One MkII Nostalgia Edition is a performance-focused multitrack sequencer that supports MIDI, CV/Gate, and DAW integration, offering eight fully configurable sequencers, a 128-pad touch interface, and extensive modulation capabilities for advanced music creation.

Advanced Sequencing Architecture

Oxi One MkII provides eight independent sequencers, each capable of handling up to 64 tracks depending on mode. These sequencers operate autonomously with their own timing, direction, start and end points, and shuffle values. Six sequencing modes—Multi, Chord, Mono, Polyphonic, Stochastic, and Metriceal—cater to various musical needs, from generative improvisation to complex harmonic arrangements. Each sequencer includes two assignable LFOs, an arpeggiator with fifteen modes, and a looper, allowing deep pattern evolution and modulation control.

Enhanced Hardware Design

The MkII version features a larger and more responsive design with an upgraded display and increased button count for improved workflow. The CPU operates at double the speed of its predecessor, and the internal memory is significantly expanded. The addition of a microSD slot provides virtually unlimited project storage. The 128 multi-touch RGB pads allow for note input, parameter drawing, and XY control, transforming the surface into a versatile performance canvas.

Powerful Live Composition Tools

A Live Arranger with song view lets users chain and visually arrange patterns up to 128 steps. Real-time input is available via external MIDI keyboards, the internal chaser, Euclidean and drum pattern generators, and Keyboard Mode. The Humaniser introduces nuanced imperfections in timing and triggering, while the onboard Randomiser enables creative unpredictability across pitch, gate length, and velocity. FLOW and Performance modes offer dynamic layering, real-time modulation, and advanced expressive tools like the Accumulator and Repeat engines.

Modulation Matrix & CV Capabilities

Over 40 internal modulations can be routed via the extended MIDI and CV matrix. CVs are freely assignable as LFOs, ADSRs, or custom modulation curves. Users can modulate MIDI CCs, switch arpeggiator octaves, or automate drum velocities using internal or external sources. Eight CV outs and eight Gate outs provide flexible connectivity, with two CV inputs and full Clock I/O support. The sequencer integrates with Eurorack systems via the Pipe MkII module, which helps manage cable routing efficiently.

Chord Mode & Harmonisation Engine

The innovative Chord Mode supports up to eight voices with access to over 150 chord types, including spread and bass configuration options. The Chord Arpeggiator adds motion to harmonic content, while the Harmoniser ensures musical coherence across all tracks by syncing their harmonic progression to the central chord sequence. This allows musicians to create complex arrangements without in-depth theoretical knowledge.

Connectivity & Expansion

Connectivity includes MIDI In/Out, USB-C, Bluetooth MIDI, and an HDMI port for integration with Pipe MkII. The device supports wireless MIDI to CV/Gate or USB conversion and vice versa. Expansion is possible with the Split 2 module, adding six MIDI outputs and one MIDI Thru. It is USB-powered and includes a MIDI-TRS adapter, microSD card, and travel case.
