The RME Digiface USB supports a substantial audio throughput with capability to handle up to 66 audio channels via ADAT and Optical SPDIF, ideal for complex setups.

The RME Digiface USB is a portable USB digital audio interface designed to transfer up to 66 channels of audio over ADAT and Optical SPDIF.
The RME Digitace USB features four ADAT /SPDIF I/O and one analogue high-quality line/phones output. Like all RME Audio interfaces the Digiface USB comes with powerful TotalMix FX routing and monitoring software allowing you to configure your entire audio setup and provide up to 32 monitor mixes.
Each single ADAT port can support up to 8 channels and can work in SMUX3 and SMUX4 allowing four channels at 88.1kHz and 96kHz or two channels at 192kHz. With four ADAT I/O ports the Digiface USB can provide eight channels at 192kHz.
Furthermore the Digifce is extremely portable and can easily be transported with a collection of preamps for a powerful mobile recording rig or even as a great sounding headphone amp.
