The Rupert Neve Designs R6 is a powerful and versatile 6-slot 500 series rack.

The Rupert Neve Designs R6 delivers an impressive 150% of the power required by 6-slot chassis to avoid any modules being starved of power even with power-hungry modules. In addition, the R6 features LED current metering designed to monitor the current being used and troubleshoot any problematic modules. The Power supply of the R6 itself has been carefully designed to avoid significant magnetic induction that could affect the performance of modules.

Perhaps more interestingly, the R6 offers a wealth of connectivity with 8 channel of balanced I/O options including TRS Jack, XLR and db25, which can all be used interchangeably. Not only is this great to ensure the R6 fits into your studio immediately, it also allows you to use parallel processing.  Another advantage is that the R6 can be used to change the type of cables from db25, XLR or TRS using the THRU functions of channel 7 and 8. A link jumper lets you pair modules 1-2, 3-4 and 5-6 together for stereo operation.

The R6 is built like a tank from solid steel and features bumpers on the side to let you position your chassis horizontally or vertically. A collapsible handle is also included to make it easy to transport your chassis anywhere. Built to the 500-series specs the R6 will deliver optimum performance with well-designed 500-series modules and features variable screw holes to accommodate some modules that may be slightly out of spec.
